PARIS - A Canadian-born musician Gonzales, broke the world record by playing piano for 27 hours, three minutes and 44 seconds.

Telegraph.co.uk reported on Tuesday (05/19/2009), men's 37-year record previously held by Indian musicians, Prasanna Gudi. Gudi playing for 26 hours and 12 minutes in December last year.

Gonzales began the action on Sunday (17 / 5) midnight in a small venue in Montmatre, Paris, France.

During the 27th hour, Gonzales played 300 songs until the song started Gerswin Summertime Hit Me Baby One More Time, which was popularized by Britney Spears, Ode to Joy (Beethoven), and Eye of the Tiger that is the soundtrack to the movie Rocky III.

Gonzales was given a chance to rest for 15 minutes every three hours and 30 seconds break between songs.

LONDON - A teenager 17 years became the youngest person in the world to successfully navigate the ocean by himself. He ended his journey in British waters after 156 days of sailing.

Mike Perham made it to the finish at Lizard Point which is a region which lies between southern England and northern France.

British teenager who used sailboats 15 feet in length, arrived at approximately 5 pm local time, Thursday.

"I am successful, I managed to make my dreams come true and it was very unusual," Perham said as quoted by AFP on Friday (08/27/2009).

Perham's father, Peter, expressed great pride in his son. "Perham is a special child. He has done something extraordinary," he said.

Thus Perham listed himself as the youngest person to successfully circumnavigate the globe by sailboat. Previously known record held by American teenagers, Zac Sunderland. When sailing, last month, Zac aged two months older than Perham.
